NAACP Issues Travel Advisory About American Airlines

The NAACP issued a travel advisory late Tuesday regarding American Airlines, warning black passengers in particular not to fly by American, the world’s largest airline.
The statement added which the advisory was efficient starting Tuesday, October 24th, & would be in place until “more notice.”
On Wednesday, American Airlines chief executive officer Doug Parker wrote in a memo to his employees which he was “disappointed” in the NAACP’s statement, & which the airline’s mission similarly frowned upon “discrimination of any kind.”
In August, the NAACP issued its 1st-ever travel advisory versus the state of Missouri next the state’s passage of a law which Missouri’s NAACP conference tells allows for legal discrimination.
The advisory at while warned those looking to travel to the state to do very by “extreme Warning.”
