European visitors flock to Central


Central America was a big hit with European visitors in 2012 according to new figures released by the ministries of tourism of the seven Central American countries. In total Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama – received 832,567 European visitors last year, an increase of nearly 16 per cent when compared to the previous year.

Strong passenger growth at


Low cost carrier Norwegian has reported strong passenger growth in April, due to the opening of two new bases in England and Spain, and the launch of several new routes and Travel . The company carried more than 1.7 million passengers this month, an increase of 28 per cent compared to the same period previous year.

Arabian Travel Market

Shaza Hotels has confirmed it will increase its presence in the Middle East with a new project set to open in Doha.
